Kuyo Tabata

Born in Wakayama City,  Wakayama Prefecture in 1959

 

Grew up close to her grandfather who painted signs by hand

At the age of 1, often played with her grandfather's brushes  

First leaned to write with brushes instead of pencils

At the age of 4 , started to learn Japanese Calligraphy 

 

Bachelor of Arts (Calligraphy Program) from NISHOGAKUSHA University

 

Learned under Mr Sanshu Kuwata who was the authority of Kana Calligraphy after the war

 

Learned Nihonga ( Japanese painting ) under Mr Hakudo Inagaki

 

 

Instructed as  Japanese Caligraphy teacher at high school

Established the calligraphy class and  group "Koyokai"
